撮影は、画面上のソフトウェアシャッターボタン、トラックボールのクリック等、カメラボタン等で行います。ソフトウェアシャッターボタンは、設定によって１ボタン、２ボタンに変更可能です。いろいろ試してみてください。
お使いの機種によりますが、ズーム、LED点灯、ホワイトバランス変更、フォーカスモード変更に対応しています。フィルタ機能を付加したので、モノクロやセピアの画像を撮影できるようになりました。
Android 2.0以上の機種では、GPS位置情報を取得し、EXIFに書きこむことが可能になりました。
実機ではGDDJ-09（標準1.6）とX10 Mini Pro（2.1-update1）、HTC Desire HD（2.3.3）、REGZAタブレット AT300（3.1）で試しています。
X10 Mini Proではカメラボタン半押しでフォーカス、深押しで撮影できます。ただし、LEDライトを点灯してもフォーカス処理が働くと消えてしまうようです。LEDライトを使う場合はオートフォーカスを「semc-continuous（自動継続）」にするといいかもしれません。
